'Annayum Rasoolum' is an intense love story which revolves around the unique and realistic life situations of the people in Mattancherry. The distinguished cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is directing this film starring Fahad Fazil in the lead role.

Rajeev Ravi attempts to tell a love story through the day to day events happening in the life of common man without any trace of exaggeration.

Rasool is a taxi driver who lives in Mattancherry for years. His brother Haider (Ashiq Abu) is an employee at a local ferry. Their father had married a second wife and lives in Ponnanni. Hence Rasool and his brother are emotionally very much attached.

Anna Josephina is a sales girl in a famous firm in Ernakulam. Because of their innocence and frankness Anna and Rasool are attracted to each other. 'Annayum Rasoolum' paints beautifully how they overcome the many odds and hurdles in order to get success in their love. In the course of these efforts many truths are unveiled. 

Rajeev Ravi, who is the script writer himself, makes an effort to present the story in a novel way.

Tamil movie 'Ayirathil Oruvan' fame Andrea is cast opposite Fahad. Sunny Wayne who is a familiar face after 'Second Show' does a major supporting role. Well known directors Renjith, Ashiq Abu, and P Balachandran also have important roles to do in this movie.
